Beach, 2000

Nothing spectacular here, just some shots of two great folks, a neat Fourth of July celebration at Pickett's, and some pretty places.

Dad at his favorite spot: the porch at Wells, Maine.

Mom gives her patented "What now...?" look as Dad smiles for the picture.

Looking north from Moody Point.

Mom puts a lot of time and effort into her garden, but it sure pays off.

As usual, The 4th of July at the Picketts' brought a huge crowd of friends, neighbors and family.

Uncle Tom's place at Wells.

Not one to be left behind in the computer age, Mom works at mastering her iMac.

Mom's also a pretty talented broiler.

The abandoned Wells train depot. The shiny rails tell you there's plenty of train traffic, just no passengers.

Dad has to squint in the bight afternoon sun.

Lunch time.
