Yet another shot of the small round structure found on the small island in Doolin Harbor.

Looking back south of Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher.

The destination, Inish Oire, the closest of the three Aran Islands.

The island is dominated by a steep, large hill, topped by both a castle's ruins and the local water treatment plant. A typical Aran Island hillside home. Martha, Anne, Ann Livingston (hidden by Anne) and John start the ascent to the castle.

Another view of the island's terrain. This is on the relatively flat lower section near the harbor.

John passes a tavern (something he would never have done in his college days).

I swear I've seen this same window and same flowers on many Ireland post cards since returning home.
