The House at Fanta

The crowd of cousins disembarks at the house at Fanta, birthplace (if I have my facts straight) of Joseph O'Toole's mother, Margaret O'Donoghue. The picture at the left shows the front of the house, now backed against overgrowth on a hill overlooking a small river.
The house, no longer owned by family members is used as a vacation home. It is fairly well-maintained and is adjacent to a field owned by Pappy O'Donoghue. Shown is the rear of the house.

The ruins of a horse shed. Some of the rocks came from a castle once near the site, with unique carvings in them. These rocks were definitely not designed to be part of a shed, although it's how they ended up.
